2018

Brad with a nice Bluenose caught in some pretty ruff sea conditions!
A good start to the year with lots of Snapper and Kingfish on the first day of 2018.
Its been a good month with Slaughter Fishing Charters. We’ve been catching a variety of species with snapper being the main catch using softbaits and slow jigs.
These guys persevered the rough sea conditions and a non-existent morning bite but eventually the bite came on and it was all go!. Some good snappers were landed and some even bigger ones dusted these guys with the fast drift and challenging conditions.
Got to fish a Movember prostate cancer fundraiser with a good group of guys out of Auckland. Amazing snapper fishing over three days with a lot of big snapper being caught and released by everyone involved.
Took these guys out to fish some deep water. Sea conditions were perfect and the fishing was hot! Main catches for the day were Hapuka,Bass,Tarakihi and a reasonable size Ling which is something you don’t catch overtime out.
Kanes nice size Bluenose that he hauled out of 260 metres!
Jason with the best snapper for the day caught in 50 metres of water on a slow jig.
